Product Details
Polyester clear coated white ceramic mugs with full colour dye photo-quality sublimated printing.
Hardwearing and dishwasher safe.
Images can be one of the following:
- Landscape image that wraps around the mug
- Two different portrait images, one either side of the mug
- One portrait image duplicated either side of the mug
- One portrait image opposite the handle
Portrait image(s) are one size and text may be defined to appear at the top or bottom of the mug or both.
N.B. Images should be .gif, .png or .jpg at minimum resolution of 200 dpi. Maximum printable area is 20cm x 9cm. mAnagr.com can take no responsibility for the clarity of any images.
Example 1:
Provide a squad photo (landscape) as Image 1; blank out Image 2; set upper text to 'Hamley Town Under 11s Blues' and lower text to 'Wessex League Division 3 Winners 2006/7'.
Could be presented to each player as a memento of a successful season.
Example 2:
Provide a player's photo (portrait) as Image 1; leave Image 2 as its duplicate; set upper text to the player's name; set lower text to 'Happy Birthday'.

Sublimation Printing is a procedure for transferring full colour graphics or photographs onto a large selection of items. These include metal, ceramics, Unisub products and glass, all of which are specially pre-coated and, therefore, sublimation receptive. Certain synthetic fabrics can also be printed allowing a transfer of designs onto T-shirts, mug, mouse mats and more.
A Heat Press is used to transfer the image to the end product. With heat and pressure the inks convert from a solid to a gas and penetrate into the surface of the substrate. This gives a far more durable finish in comparison to some other transfer methods where the image is only applied to the surface.
